The Sao Paulo Grand Prix result has been revised after Formula 1 stewards issued three post-race penalties, including one for Ferrari's Charles Leclerc. The race was won by Lando Norris, while Max Verstappen finished second after a recovery drive from 21st on the grid and was voted driver of the day by fans.
Leclerc Penalty for Lawson Collision
Leclerc, who had finished seventh on the road, was found guilty of causing a collision with Liam Lawson as the pair duelled for seventh place late in the grand prix. The penalty drops Leclerc in the final classification.
The Ferrari driver had finished two places ahead of Lewis Hamilton, who failed to pit when the team told him to late in the race, costing him multiple positions.
Mercedes Secures Constructors' Title
The day also marked a significant achievement for Mercedes, who secured their status as constructors' champions for the first time since 2021. They were helped by Ferrari having an even worse day.
The stewards confirmed three post-race penalties in total, with Leclerc's being one of them. The full revised results reflect the penalties handed down after the race.
