Lewis Hamilton has demanded serious talks with Ferrari following the Mexico City Grand Prix, where Kimi Antonelli was crowned Formula One world champion at just 20 years old with a third-place finish.
Max Verstappen claimed victory in the race, with Hamilton finishing second. Despite the strong result, Hamilton was furious after starting on pole but failing to capitalise due to a battle with Ferrari team-mate Charles Leclerc.
Penalties Change Final Outcome
Leclerc, who cut a corner during his attempted overtake on Hamilton, was hit with a penalty for the incident but still finished fourth.
The final outcome did change, with Oscar Piastri, Franco Colapinto and Pierre Gasly all hit by 10-second time penalties, which saw them tumble out of the points following the stewards' investigation.
Fallout and Next Race
The fallout from the chaotic race continues, with attention now turning to this weekend's Sao Paulo Grand Prix.
