La Voix, the drag performer forced to withdraw from Strictly Come Dancing last year due to injury, has provided an update on her recovery as she prepares to join the 2026 live tour. The RuPaul's Drag Race star, real name Christopher Dennis, was paired with professional dancer Aljaz Skorjanec before a foot injury ended her run in November 2025.
Speaking ahead of the tour, which kicks off on Friday 23 January, La Voix revealed she has been undergoing rehabilitation and will wear a lower heel to manage the injury. 'I've been doing my rehab and they've given me a lower heel to make it easier. This is the only time you'll see La Voix in a frumpy heel, but it's what I've got to do,' she said.
The tour will visit Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester and London's O2 Arena, with judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood joining the line-up. La Voix will reunite with Aljaz and other former contestants including George Clarke, Vicky Pattison, Lewis Cope and Ellie Goldstein.
La Voix has also been tipped as a potential replacement for departing hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, who announced their exit from the show in October 2025. Speaking on This Morning, she hinted at her interest, saying: 'There's two openings... I would take either. That's why I'm keeping in with Shirley, because I think she might be quite influential.'
