Derby County's Championship match against Birmingham City was brought to a halt on Saturday afternoon after Henrik Meister went down off the ball. The medical team rushed onto the pitch, with Meister eventually stretchered off the Pride Park pitch before play resumed.
Medical emergency halts play
A reporter covering the match for the Derby Telegraph wrote: "Real concern here for Henrik Meister who appeared to go down on his own with nobody near him. Medical staff are on and stretcher has been called for. He's being carried down the tunnel."
Club sends support
A social media post from Derby read: "A lengthy delay at the start of the half as Meister goes down off the ball and is stretchered from the field. We're all with you, Henrik."
