A shocking dashcam video has emerged showing a driver dangerously overtaking on a main road in Bridgend, narrowly avoiding a head-on collision. The incident occurred on the A4063 towards Aberkenfig at around 5:30pm on Saturday, May 11.
The anonymous witness, who was driving ahead, noticed a couple in a black SEAT Ibiza behind him “laughing and messing around.” Moments later, the driver overtook his car without indicating or leaving sufficient space. The witness said that if other vehicles had not moved out of the way, “there would 100% have been a head-on accident.”
The driver later repeated the dangerous manoeuvre on a blind bend, overtaking multiple vehicles. The witness described the driving as “absolute crazy driving” and labelled the driver an “idiot.” The footage has been shared on social media, attracting hundreds of concerned comments from locals.
