Matheus Cunha has sent a new transfer message to Manchester United after appearing to hint at a Wolves exit earlier this month. The 25-year-old forward, who has been linked with a move to Old Trafford, posted a cryptic Instagram story following his recent social media activity.
Cunha had previously 'liked' a comment from a Manchester United fan saying 'Manchester United soon', sparking speculation of a January switch. However, he has since 'unliked' the comment and uploaded a picture of himself in action for Wolves with emojis of a wolf, an infinity symbol, and an orange heart, suggesting he wants to stay at Molineux.
The Brazil international described Wolves as 'home' in a recent interview with the club's official website. 'I feel like it's my home,' he said. 'I feel the admiration of the fans, and this is something that I never believed I would get when I first came here.'
Cunha, whose contract runs until June 2027, has scored eight goals and provided three assists in 16 Premier League appearances this season, but Wolves remain in the relegation zone. United are among the clubs reportedly interested in the forward, but his latest message appears to dampen hopes of a move.
