Former West Bromwich Albion midfielder Quevin Castro has died at the age of 25. He collapsed on the pitch on Saturday morning during a match for Portuguese club Real Queluz.
Castro had played just 10 minutes of the game against FC Serpa at the Estadio das Seixas before falling to the ground. Medical teams from both sides rushed to assist him, and a defibrillator was used, according to A Bola.
