British golfer Charley Hull has revealed she will appear in the 2027 edition of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, teasing fans with a series of beachside photographs on Instagram.
In the images, Hull posed by the sea wearing only a towel, and in another snap she wore a black robe with a grey swimsuit visible underneath. She captioned the post "I did a thing," tagging Sports Illustrated's swimsuit page.
Fans react to the announcement
The post drew an enthusiastic response from followers, with one writing "Well these are about to be," and another saying "Ahhh so excited to see the pics!" A third commented "Omg you were so fantastic to work with!!!! We were all blown away," while a fourth added "Think the internet may have just been broken!"
Another fan responded "Charley you seem to get better looking with each time that you post!" and several simply said "Can't wait!"
Joining a star-studded lineup
Hull will appear alongside Jena Sims, Meredith Mickelson and Xandra in the annual issue, which features models, celebrities and athletes in swimwear at locations around the world. She follows athletes such as Alex Morgan, Serena Williams and Ronda Rousey in the magazine.
Hull, who has nearly 400,000 Instagram followers, reportedly shot the photos in Ibiza, the same island where she once nearly got a tattoo across her forehead.
A near-miss tattoo story
Speaking to Golfweek, Hull recalled: "I got drunk when I was in Ibiza when I was 17-years-old. Me and my friend James went out partying." She explained that on the way back from a club she wanted a tattoo across her head, but her friend refused to allow it on her forehead.
"He wouldn't let me get it on my forehead. Instead, I got it on my foot and it says, 'hold tight.' He got a matching one on his arm," she said.
