Lamine Yamal has taunted Jude Bellingham with a three-word message during Barcelona's La Liga title celebrations. After Sunday's 2-0 victory over Real Madrid, Barcelona secured their second consecutive league crown.
Yamal, 18, posted 'Talk is cheap' on his Instagram story, accompanied by seven laughing emojis. The phrase echoed Bellingham's own words after Real's 2-1 win at the Bernabeu in October, when the England midfielder wrote on social media: 'Talk is cheap. HALA MADRID SIEMPRE!!!'
Bellingham's dig followed Yamal's earlier criticism of Real Madrid players, accusing them of 'robbing and complaining'. After that defeat, Barcelona responded by winning 23 of their next 25 La Liga games, while Real Madrid faltered.
Yamal missed the most recent Clasico with a hamstring injury but is expected to be fit for the World Cup with Spain. Goals from Marcus Rashford and Ferran Torres sealed the win, giving Barcelona an unassailable 14-point lead with three games remaining.
Hansi Flick's side can finish on 100 points if they win all remaining matches. The German manager said: 'Now we want to reach 100 points. The players deserve a celebration now. Next year we're going to try to win the Champions League.'
