World Cup 2026 Quarter-Finals Set After Thrilling Last-16
The World Cup 2026 quarter-finals are upon us. From 48 teams to the final eight, the tournament has firmly entered the business end after a thrilling set of last-16 ties.
All three co-hosts have been eliminated. Canada were comfortably beaten by Africa Cup of Nations champions Morocco, while the USA were thrashed 4-1 by Belgium following the Folarin Balogun controversy. England played out arguably the finest match of the tournament so far, edging Mexico 3-2 in a thrilling encounter at the Estadio Azteca.

The semi-finals will be played on July 14 (Match 101, Dallas) and July 15 (Match 102, Atlanta). The third-place final is on July 18 in Miami, with the final on July 19 at 8pm in New York/New Jersey.
