Wolves staged a dramatic second-half comeback to draw 2-2 with Brentford, denting the Bees' hopes of European qualification. The visitors took a two-goal lead through Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa, but Wolves responded with goals from Rayan Ait-Nouri and Matheus Cunha to snatch a point at Molineux.
Brentford started brightly and took the lead in the 10th minute when Mbeumo fired home from close range. Wissa doubled the advantage just before half-time, heading in from a corner to put the Bees in control. Wolves struggled to create chances in the first half, with Brentford's defence looking solid.
However, Wolves came out with renewed energy after the break. Ait-Nouri pulled one back in the 55th minute with a powerful strike from the edge of the box. The equaliser came in the 75th minute when Cunha tapped in from a corner, sparking wild celebrations among the home fans.
Brentford pushed for a winner in the final stages but were unable to find a way past Wolves goalkeeper Jose Sa. The draw leaves Brentford in 11th place, six points off the European places, while Wolves move up to 13th.
