The European Club Association (ECA) has given a lukewarm response to Uefa's proposed restructuring of international qualifiers, which would see them held over six consecutive days from 2014.
In a statement, the ECA argued that the changes would have minimal impact, aside from reducing players' rest periods by one or two days.
The association also raised concerns about the number of player release periods, stating it has made clear its preference for six double dates per qualifying tournament.
