Tuchel drops Cole Palmer from England Nations League squad

Thomas Tuchel has named his England squad for the upcoming international break, with Cole Palmer not included. England face Croatia on November 12 and Spain on November 15 in Nations League action.

Palmer left out after withdrawal

Cole Palmer had been selected for the last international break, but the Chelsea striker quickly pulled out of international duty. At the time, Tuchel said he was "playing with discomfort and pain" but was "missing too many opportunities" with England.

He has now been dropped from Tuchel's squad for the November fixtures.

First call-up for Josh King

Josh King has earned his first call-up to the senior squad, after the 19-year-old impressed for Fulham in the Premier League. Jobe Bellingham has also found room in the squad.

The Three Lions started their Nations League campaign during September and October's extended international break, losing 3-2 to Spain before bouncing back with two wins over Czechia and a 7-0 demolition of Croatia.
