Rangers are chasing Aston Villa right-back Kosta Nedeljkovic, as Record Sport exclusively revealed. The Ibrox club are exploring a deal for the 20-year-old Serbian international, who joined Villa in 2024 from Red Star Belgrade for £8 million but spent last season on loan at RB Leipzig. Rangers boss Derek McInnes is keen to strengthen his backline and would like to add the Serb to his new-look squad. Gers are weighing up a cash deal for Nedeljkovic, but a loan with option to buy is also a possibility. McInnes already has Dujon Sterling and Ross McCrorie in that position but wants to add the Villa star to his ranks.
Hearts accept bid for Kyziridis
Hearts have accepted a £1.7 million bid for Alexandros Kyziridis, confirmed by Wouter Vrancken. The Greek winger was at Tynecastle on Sunday but dropped out of the squad after a bid was accepted from a newly-promoted Turkish side. The 25-year-old has now been given permission to open talks and finalise his move.

But further reinforcements across the board are needed, with the first leg of Celts' vital Champions League qualification play-off against Austrian league champions LASK just 10 days away. O'Neill is keen to bolster his options between the posts following Kasper Schmeichel's retirement and have been linked with former Burnley man Pope. The 34-year-old has racked up over 150 appearances for the Magpies since his arrival four years ago but has now been told he is free to leave by new St James' Park boss Matthias Jaissle.
