Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tyrese Hall is expected to be called up by Jamaica for their two-legged CONCACAF Nations League quarter-final tie against Mexico this month.
The 21-year-old, who has been training regularly with Roberto De Zerbi's first team at Spurs this season, has two senior international caps for Jamaica and made his debut in March this year.
Upcoming matches and transfer interest
The Reggae Boyz will first host Mexico in Kingston on Sunday, November 15, before travelling for the second leg three days later.
Hall has been around Spurs' first-team setup this season but has yet to make his senior debut for the club. Standard Sport understands there is likely to be loan and permanent interest in the former England youth international when the January transfer window opens.
Club and international progress
Hall was expected to leave Tottenham on loan in the summer, but a deal failed to materialise before the deadline, and he joined back up with Wayne Burnett's Under-21s team.
His impressive performances for the U21s caught the attention of De Zerbi, and he travelled with the first team for their warm-weather training camp in Marbella last month.
Jamaica's interim manager Rudolph Speid picked Hall for the March internationals as part of a new data-driven approach to squad selection.
Hall became the first Spurs player ever to represent Jamaica when he made his senior international debut by coming off the bench in a World Cup play-off match against DR Congo.
He was called up again in May and made his full debut, playing 90 minutes as Jamaica beat India 2-0 in the Unity Cup, which was held at The Valley, home of Charlton.
