Savinho wants more playing time
According to Fabrizio Romano, the forward wants to develop and play more, prompting his request to leave the club. Tottenham have previously been linked with Savinho, with Standard Sport reporting that he topped the club's shortlist as manager Roberto De Zerbi looks to add a winger to his squad.
Spurs' summer spending spree
Tottenham have already been active in the transfer market, spending £185 million on Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali to overhaul the midfield, while £52 million was paid to Brighton for Jan Paul van Hecke. Defenders Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson, and Martin Dubravka have also arrived on free transfers.
City's attacking options
Manchester City have several other wide players, including Rayan Cherki, Jeremy Doku, Antoine Semenyo, and Phil Foden. Jack Grealish is also returning from a loan spell at Everton, and the club has signed young Leicester winger Jeremy Monga, further limiting Savinho's chances of first-team action.
