Marcus Rashford's future at Manchester United remains uncertain this summer as the England international weighs up a return to Old Trafford or a permanent move elsewhere after two loan spells. The 28-year-old has been linked with a host of clubs across Europe, with Bayern Munich reportedly his dream destination.
Bayern Munich and Barcelona
Bayern Munich, the Bundesliga champions, are seen as an ideal fit, though Rashford would face competition from Michael Olise and Luis Diaz on the wings. The German club are seeking more depth in attack to mount a serious Champions League challenge.
Barcelona, who had Rashford on loan, declined a permanent deal at £25 million, instead spending £70 million on Anthony Gordon. Despite Rashford's social media farewell to the Catalan club, a second loan move remains possible, but United have so far rejected such proposals.
Real Madrid and Premier League options

Finally, Aston Villa, where Rashford spent six months on loan in 2025, could offer a return, with the club back in the Champions League.
