Swansea City were held to a frustrating goalless draw by Sheffield United on Saturday, with the defence holding firm but the attack failing to convert chances.
Chances were few and far between for much of the afternoon, as the Swans struggled to find the incisiveness that produced a 2-1 win at Stoke City last week.
Goalkeeper and Defence
Lawrence Vigouroux 7 – Had a fairly quiet afternoon, but was smart and assured when called upon.
Filip Lissah 7 – Confident performance on the right. Linked up well with Opoku going forward and battled well in defence. No player won more aerial duels. Continues to impress.
Ben Cabango 7 – Pretty solid for much of the afternoon. Strong in the air and marshalled the defence reasonably well. Subbed.
Stephen Welsh 7 – Put in a number of good tackles, and looked pretty confident on the ball again.
Josh Tymon 7 – Lively down the right for much of the afternoon. Put in a number of decent balls that sadly weren't converted.
Midfield and Attack
Marko Stamenic 6 – Nothing to really take issue with, but a fairly quiet outing by his standards.
Jay Fulton 6 – Not as influential as last week, but enjoyed some good moments. Subbed.
Moussa Yeo 6 – Showed some bright moments. Linked up really well with Idah. Had the right ideas, but execution was sometimes lacking. Subbed.
Elijah Just 5 – Plenty of energy and application, but just couldn't muster the quality needed in the final third at times. Subbed.
Joseph Opoku 6 – Had arguably his side's best chance of the game in the second half. Some flashes of promise, but didn't hit the heights of last week.
Adam Idah 7 - STAR MAN – Really energetic up front, and some lovely touches played others in. Didn't get much in the way of goalscoring chances, but might well feel hard done by in coming off. Subbed.
