Super Bowl LX Menu Features Extravagant Prices for Fans
The National Football League has unveiled an opulent culinary offering for Super Bowl LX at Levi's Stadium, presenting fans with a lavish menu that includes eye-watering price points. Supporters of the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks, who have traveled to the Bay Area for this highly anticipated rematch of Super Bowl XLIX, will encounter premium dishes and beverages, albeit at significant cost.
Premium Dishes with Staggering Price Tags
The NFL collaborated extensively with Levi's Stadium's hospitality team over the past year to curate a selection of gourmet recipes. The menu showcases creative interpretations of classic game day fare, featuring items such as premium steaks, burgers, hot dogs, and signature cocktails. However, the financial outlay for these culinary delights is substantial.
Notable offerings include:
- The Gilroy Garlic Steak Frites, priced at £25, which consists of seared California hanger steak served with a rich au poivre sauce, crisped Gilroy garlic, and pink peppercorns.
- The Chinatown Dog, a char-grilled footlong all-beef hot dog garnished with Chinese hot mustard, char siu pork, sriracha, and shredded yellow daikon, available for approximately £15.
- The LX Hammer Burger, a towering creation featuring fall-off-the-bone tender braised bone-in beef shank, roasted mirepoix demi-glace, and Point Reyes bleu cheese fondue on a house-baked brioche bun, commanding a staggering price of £133.
Seafood, Sweets, and Signature Drinks
For seafood enthusiasts, the menu includes Dungeness Crab Potachos with Kennebec potato chips, smothered in a luxurious Petaluma white cheddar fondue sauce, priced at £30. Those with a sweet tooth can indulge in the San Fran Sticky Roll, a homemade sourdough cinnamon roll glazed with white chocolate mascarpone crème anglaise and topped with spun sugar, for £22.
The beverage selection is equally extravagant, with beers starting at £12.50 for an American canned lager and £14 for a premium brew. A glass of wine costs nearly £13, while signature cocktails such as the Halftime Show watermelon margarita are priced at £17, and the "Pier 39" Paloma, featuring agave syrup and ruby red grapefruit juice, costs £26 for a double measure.
Massive Hospitality Operation for Super Bowl LX
Super Bowl LX will see a formidable hospitality team in action, with 40 executive chefs and 2,500 staff members dedicated to serving guests on the big day. The culinary preparations are extensive, with plans to serve up to 10,000 hot dogs, 1,000 loaded footlong dogs, 2,000 pounds of prime beef tenderloin, and 1,500 pounds of local Dungeness crab.
The event is expected to draw 1.3 million visitors to the Bay Area, with the Seahawks entering as favorites against the Patriots in this championship clash. Seattle aims to avenge their 28-24 defeat to New England in Super Bowl XLIX back in 2015, adding an extra layer of excitement to the occasion.
