The Premier League has announced the fixtures for the 2025-26 season, with champions Arsenal opening the campaign at home to Coventry City on Friday, 21 August. Coventry, returning to the top flight after 25 years, face a daunting start against the title holders.
Other promoted sides Hull City and Ipswich Town begin their seasons at home to Manchester United and Sunderland respectively. The opening weekend also features Andoni Iraola's Liverpool debut at Newcastle on 23 August, while Manchester City, now under new management after Pep Guardiola's departure, host Bournemouth the same day.
Notable early-season clashes include Arsenal traveling to Aston Villa in the second weekend, followed by a home game against Chelsea. The first Manchester derby takes place on 12 September at Old Trafford, with United visiting Liverpool on 21 November. Arsenal and City meet at the Emirates on 28 November, and Liverpool face Everton the same weekend.
Boxing Day highlights include Coventry manager Frank Lampard's return to Chelsea. The season concludes on 30 May, with Arsenal hosting Brighton, City at Sunderland, and Liverpool facing Bournemouth. Chelsea and United finish at home to Brentford and Fulham respectively.
