Alan Shearer has shared his Premier League predictions for the upcoming weekend, with Chelsea tipped to beat Tottenham in the London derby, Manchester City to win at Aston Villa, and Arsenal to overcome Everton.
Chelsea and Tottenham London derby
Shearer was impressed by Chelsea's midfield, particularly Caicedo, who he believes has made a significant difference. "I was impressed with Caicedo. Chelsea are looking a more well-rounded team and I think Caicedo's played a huge part in that, he's made the difference," he said.
He also noted the positive impact of Caicedo and Henderson in midfield, saying they have "stiffened up a bit." Tottenham, despite a good result, did not play well in Shearer's view, so he predicts a Chelsea home win.
Manchester City and Arsenal victories
At Villa Park, Shearer praised Aston Villa's manager Unai Emery as "a phenomenal manager" after Villa's impressive Champions League form, but he believes Manchester City will have enough to win.
For Arsenal vs Everton, Shearer expects Everton to sit deep and frustrate, but he thinks Arsenal will have enough, despite concerns over Bukayo Saka's injury. "Saka came off injured, and I'd be amazed if he was fit for the weekend after what looked like a thigh injury," he said.
Other key matches
Shearer predicts a draw between Ipswich and Nottingham Forest, a draw for Coventry vs Fulham, and a Newcastle away win at Crystal Palace, citing the home side's travel to Turkey.
He also expects Brentford to beat Hull, a score draw between Liverpool and Brighton, a draw between Manchester United and Bournemouth, and a Leeds win at Sunderland.
