Sevilla boss admits he was wrong about Robbie Ure's best position

Robbie Ure is set to lead Sevilla's attack against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu tonight, with boss Luis Garcia Plaza admitting he has changed his mind about the Scotland striker's best position.

Ure scored his first goal for his new club in La Liga last week and sits second in the European Golden Boot standings following his goalscoring exploits in Sweden with Sirius.

Plaza admits he was wrong

Plaza revealed he now sees the former Rangers and Anderlecht star as a different player, saying: "Robbie is not really a penalty box striker."

"The other day he could have scored more goals, he had two chances, one of them a clear one. He has to keep working the same way. But he brings different things to the table. He's not such a typical penalty box striker."

New qualities recognised

"It took me until I got to know him to realise this because when a new signing is brought in, you only see them a little bit when the sports director recommends them," he added.

"He is a player who offers other qualities, he lays the ball off well, shoots well and is able to turn. He can also play as a second striker if we change tactics."
