Scotland vs Slovenia: Nations League live stream, TV and kick-off

Scotland host Slovenia at Hampden Park in the Nations League, with victory set to lift Sebastien Pocognoli's side into second place in Group B1. The visitors currently sit above Scotland on goal difference.

Pocognoli seeks back-to-back wins

The Scotland boss began his reign with a goalless draw against Slovenia in Ljubljana and now faces the same opponents to conclude a four-game international break. His team secured a 2-0 win against North Macedonia on Saturday, following a defeat to Switzerland at Hampden Park.

Pocognoli's men then face North Macedonia at Hampden before a trip to Switzerland to round off the campaign. Back-to-back wins at Hampden in the next two games would all but seal a place in the top two heading into their final match against Switzerland, who are expected to clinch the automatic promotion spot.

Hendry set for recall

Jack Hendry is expected to return against Slovenia at Hampden tonight. The 31-year-old defender comes back from suspension after his sending off in last Tuesday's home defeat to Switzerland.

Hendry is set to come in for Scott McKenna, who is serving a one-match suspension after his late sending off in Saturday's win over North Macedonia. National coach Sebastien Pocognoli is expected to stick with his three-man defence, with Luis Binks and Stephen Welsh expected to complete the back line.

Red card in Swiss defeat

Hendry was red carded just minutes into the Hampden clash with the Swiss for pulling back Dan Ndoye. It was initially given as a penalty but VAR intervened, stating the foul had been outside the box and saw Hendry issued with a red card. Switzerland then scored from the free-kick to make it 1-0 and went on to win convincingly 3-0.

The Al-Ettifaq defender was a central figure in the goalless draw in Slovenia and was a big factor in him getting the nod for this match. Scotland sit third in Group E, with Slovenia above them on goal difference but a victory for Scotland would see them jump into second spot behind Switzerland.
