Mohamed Salah was given a standing ovation as his Liverpool career appeared to come to a premature end after suffering a suspected hamstring injury against Crystal Palace.
The Liverpool legend had confirmed in March that he would be leaving the club at the end of the season after a trophy-laden spell. Salah's swansong appears to have been cut short after the Egyptian pulled up in the 59th minute at Anfield.
The 33-year-old was replaced by Jeremie Frimpong and was given a rousing ovation by the home fans as he made his way off the pitch. The injury, if confirmed, would bring an abrupt conclusion to Salah's eight-year tenure at Liverpool, during which he scored over 200 goals and won major honours including the Premier League and Champions League.
