Ruby Walsh Names ‘No Brainer’ Bet at Cheltenham Festival

Former champion jockey Ruby Walsh has identified a ‘no brainer’ wager for punters at next week’s Cheltenham Festival. Speaking as a pundit, Walsh highlighted the non-runner no bet concession on the Ryanair Chase as a golden opportunity.

Walsh advised backing either Fact To File or Gaelic Warrior in the Ryanair, noting that whichever is declared will shorten significantly. He described the current odds of around 5-4 or 4-7 as a giveaway with the safety net of money back if the horse does not run.

In other races, Walsh tipped Kopek Des Bordes for the Arkle Trophy, praising his engine and jumping. For the Champion Hurdle, he selected The New Lion, believing he is the best horse in the field despite taking chances.

In the Queen Mother Champion Chase, Walsh expects Majborough to dominate if he repeats his Dublin Racing Festival performance. For the Gold Cup, he fancies two-time winner Galopin Des Champs, who he feels is in better form than earlier this season.
