Romeo Beckham, the 14-year-old son of former Manchester United star David Beckham, has been given a trial at the club's academy. He was seen at the Carrington training ground with his father, participating in a practice session with one of the youth teams.
This is not Romeo's first trial at a top club; he previously had a stint at Chelsea. His younger brother, Cruz, has also shown promise and was reportedly signed by Arsenal's academy.
A source told the Manchester Evening News: 'He was there with his dad and took part in a practice session with one of the academy sides. It was a chance for him to impress. If he’s done well then no doubt the club will look at taking him on.'
David Beckham, who is currently pursuing the establishment of a Major League Soccer franchise in Miami, has been a regular visitor to Manchester United's facilities, often accompanying his sons during their trials.
