Paris Saint-Germain came from behind to beat Arsenal 4-3 on penalties in the Champions League final, with Désiré Doué inspiring the fightback after Kai Havertz had given the Gunners an early lead.

Matvey Safonov (6) appeared to forget he could use his hands for Havertz’s opener but did not need to save any penalties in the shootout. Achraf Hakimi (7) was not fully fit after a thigh injury, while Nuno Mendes (6) saw his weak spot-kick saved by David Raya.

Marquinhos (7) could do nothing about the deflection for the goal but was substituted. Willian Pacho (7) recovered from a tough battle with Havertz to make key blocks. Fabián Ruiz (6) lacked composure, while Vitinha (8) was the midfield heartbeat and João Neves (8) impressed despite being unsettled physically.

Doué (9) improved after the break, Ousmane Dembélé (7) created and scored the penalty, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (8) grew into the game. Substitutes Bradley Barcola (6), Gonçalo Ramos (6), Warren Zaïre-Emery (6), Lucas Beraldo (7) and Illia Zabarnyi (N/A) contributed.

For Arsenal, David Raya (7) could not stop Dembélé’s equaliser. Cristhian Mosquera (6) gave away the penalty and was substituted.
