The Premier League has released the fixtures for the 2026/27 season, with Arsenal set to begin their campaign against newly promoted Coventry City, managed by Frank Lampard. The match will take place on the opening Friday night, marking Coventry's return to the top flight after 25 years.
The opening weekend spans four days, concluding with a Monday Night Football clash between Fulham and Chelsea. Other promoted sides Hull City and Ipswich Town will also make their Premier League returns. The standout fixture of the weekend is Liverpool's trip to Newcastle United, which could see Alexander Isak face his former club.
Several clubs will start the season under new management. Andoni Iraola takes charge at Liverpool, while Xabi Alonso has been appointed at Chelsea. Manchester City are yet to confirm Pep Guardiola's replacement, with Enzo Maresca expected to take over.
Key dates include Alonso's return to Anfield as Chelsea manager on May 1. Liverpool's Iraola will face his former club Bournemouth in September and on the final day of the season. The summer transfer window opened on June 15 and closes on September 1.
