Racing tipster Newsboy has named Hidden Fortune as his Nap selection for Tuesday’s meeting at Hereford. The Dan Skelton-trained mare runs in the Ludford Car Parts Group Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle at 3.38pm.
A former Irish point-to-point winner, Hidden Fortune showed promise when finishing second in a bumper at Market Rasen last time out. That run, where she kept on well to be beaten by just one and a half lengths, came behind Moore Brion – since a winner at Uttoxeter.
The step up in trip by another three furlongs is expected to suit the daughter of Soldier Of Fortune. Her main danger appears to be Kittys Glance, who won at Huntingdon last time after a wind operation, but a 7lb penalty for that victory tilts the race in Hidden Fortune’s favour.
