Del Corso to Shine at Yarmouth
Del Corso, trained by Ed Walker, is expected to make amends for a near-miss at Nottingham 22 days ago by winning the Eastern Power Systems 'Confined' Handicap (5.30) at Great Yarmouth on Thursday. The son of Dubawi showed little in his first three starts in late 2025, finishing fifth on debut at Nottingham, then sixth at Newcastle and Lingfield. However, he received a BHA handicap mark of 65 and went off 4-1 favourite for his handicap debut at Nottingham on April 8. Gelded since his previous run, Del Corso came within half a length and a short head of victory, leading at the furlong pole but fading close home after 107 days off. The handicapper raised him 3lb, but James Doyle's mount has more to offer on his fifth career start and looks set for a breakthrough win.
Style King at Southwell
At Southwell, Style King is the next best selection in the Sky Sports Racing Sky 415 Handicap (8.00). His second at Wolverhampton to Travel Agent has been boosted by the winner's subsequent form, giving him strong claims.
