Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has declared that Manchester City will win the Premier League title 'by a street', despite Arsenal currently topping the table. Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville praised Arsenal's resilience but insisted Pep Guardiola's side remain the clear favourites.
Arsenal sit one point clear of City after nine games, following a 3-2 victory over Liverpool at the Emirates. However, Neville believes the Gunners are having to operate at full capacity just to keep pace with the champions.
Neville acknowledged Arsenal's impressive wins against Tottenham and Liverpool, but questioned their ability to sustain the challenge. 'I don't think they'll win the league. Let's be clear, Man City will win the league by a street in the end,' he said.
The pundit noted that Arsenal have been tested in recent matches, with Liverpool and Tottenham both fighting back. He added that while the Gunners have shown resilience, City's depth and experience will ultimately prevail.
