Drivers should watch out for these 35 roads across Greater Manchester this week. People living in Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, and Wigan could face delays on some roads.
Roadworks can be carried out for a number of reasons including changes being made to a road, emergency repairs, as well as work by utility companies.
However a 2025 parliamentary transport committee report said: “They can also be a source of frustration for anyone trying to get around on roads and pavements by causing congestion and delays that harm the economy, disrupt transport services and limit access to high streets and businesses.”
