Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher have revealed their Premier League predictions for the 2026/27 season after the opening weekend. The two pundits made their picks on the first Monday Night Football of the campaign, following Chelsea's 3-2 win over Fulham.
Both back Arsenal for the title
Neville correctly predicted Arsenal would win the title last season, while Carragher's Liverpool prediction was off the mark. They also struggled with the relegated teams, with Neville wrongly picking Leeds to go down and Carragher choosing Sunderland.
This time, both pundits are backing Arsenal to lift the Premier League trophy once again. They also think Manchester City and Chelsea will finish in the top four.
Top-four disagreement
Neville has predicted Manchester United to sneak into the top four, while Carragher reckons Liverpool will do enough to leapfrog the Red Devils into fourth place.
Explaining his pick, Neville said: "Look, do you want me to be honest? Yes, I can't separate United and Liverpool in fourth place."
Carragher replied: "I've heard you've changed it four times over the weekend. So after United played, he changed it to Liverpool. Liverpool played and he changed it to United."
Neville explained: "A couple of weeks ago, I had United in third. I didn't have Chelsea where they were, but as you sort of get nearer to the season, you start to look at the squads and you start to think about it."
