Jack Moylan scored a dream debut winner as Cardiff City came from behind twice to beat Swindon Town 3-2 in the Carabao Cup first round. The summer signing came off the bench in the 72nd minute and netted five minutes later to seal victory.
Swindon's Early Strike
Swindon took the lead after nine minutes when Matty Virtue found Louis Millard on the edge of the area. Millard's low shot deflected off a Cardiff player and flew past Nathan Trott.
Cardiff equalised in the 29th minute through Yousef Salech's penalty after Mitchell Clark handled Isaak Davies' cross. Salech scored again just before half-time, volleying home Cian Ashford's cross.
Second-Half Drama
Swindon levelled again in the 62nd minute through Paul Glatzel, who slid in at the back post after a counter-attack. Cardiff responded, and Moylan struck the winner in the 77th minute, drilling into the top corner after a lay-off from Salech.
Swindon hit the post through Ollie Palmer late on, and James Debayo was sent off in stoppage time for a second nasty challenge. Cardiff held on to progress.
