England's rising star Michelle Agyemang has revealed her unique nickname within the Lionesses squad as they gear up for the UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship.
The talented Arsenal forward, who made her senior debut for the Gunners last season, shared the lighthearted moniker during preparations for the upcoming tournament.
The Story Behind the Nickname
"The girls call me 'Milly Rock' because of my dance moves," Agyemang confessed with a laugh. "It started as a joke but it's stuck now - even the coaches use it sometimes."
The 18-year-old striker has become known for her celebratory routines, bringing personality to the pitch alongside her impressive technical ability.
Preparing for Euros 2025
Agyemang is part of England's 21-player squad heading to Lithuania this summer for the UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship. The tournament serves as crucial development for young players hoping to break into Sarina Wiegman's senior squad.
"It's an honour to represent England at any level," Agyemang said. "We've got a great group and we're all pushing each other to improve every day."
From Academy to International Stage
The London-born forward has enjoyed a rapid rise through Arsenal's academy system before making her first-team debut in November 2023. Her performances at club level earned the attention of England youth selectors.
"Michelle brings energy and creativity to our attack," said England U19 head coach. "She's developing well and this tournament will be valuable experience."
With the Women's Euros 2025 on the horizon, Agyemang could be one to watch for future senior call-ups if she continues her current trajectory.
