Q School 2021: 14 Tour Cards Up for Grabs in Sheffield

Over 200 players will descend on Ponds Forge in Sheffield for this year’s Q School, with 14 places on the professional snooker tour up for grabs. The tournament runs from 27 May to 13 June, split into three events.

Among the entrants are former ranking event winners Michael White and Michael Georgiou, as well as newly crowned Seniors champion David Lilley. Legend of the 1980s Tony Knowles is also in the field, looking to restart his career on tour.

A host of players who dropped off the tour in the recently concluded season are also competing, including James Cahill, Ian Burns, Soheil Vahedi and Jackson Page. The draw features a mix of former Crucible stars and unknown amateurs, all vying for a tour card.

The three events are scheduled as follows: Event 1 from 27 May to 1 June, Event 2 from 2 to 7 June, and Event 3 from 8 to 13 June. Matches are best of seven frames in the early rounds.
