Manchester United face Atletico Madrid in a pre-season friendly at the Strawberry Arena in Stockholm this afternoon, kick-off at 2pm BST. Michael Carrick's side are aiming for a second win from three pre-season matches.
United's tour has so far produced a defeat by Wrexham in Helsinki and a victory over Rosenborg in Trondheim. Atletico, who finished fourth in La Liga last season, represent a much sterner examination of the Red Devils' progress.
Few changes to the lineup
Carrick has shown little inclination to experiment with his starting eleven this summer. In the Rosenborg match, academy players were the main contributors, with only one of the five goals scored by a first-team player. New signing Andrey Santos has stood out in midfield, though fellow arrival Youri Tielemans was not included in the travelling squad.
Atletico are playing just their second pre-season game, having beaten Getafe 4-1 in their opener.
