Silva has expressed concerns about the club's transfer ambition, previously describing a lack of reinforcements as "not ideal" and stating he "didn't expect us to be this passive." He has indicated that his decision will not be based solely on wages but on whether Fulham can match his aspirations.
United's top target is believed to be Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner, who is also out of contract in the summer. The Austrian has impressed at Selhurst Park, winning the FA Cup and Community Shield despite losing key players. He has voiced frustrations with Palace's transfer dealings, leading many to expect his departure.
Both Silva and Glasner are among several names linked with the Old Trafford hot seat following Amorim's dismissal on Monday, marking the second managerial change under Ineos's ownership.
