Manchester United play Paris Saint-Germain in Gothenburg on Saturday afternoon, their fourth pre-season game of the summer. Michael Carrick is expected to give Youri Tielemans his United pre-season debut, but the midfielder is likely to be introduced for the second half.
Team News and Expected Lineup
Bruno Fernandes is back in the squad and is expected to return to the starting XI, with Mason Mount and Andrey Santos retaining their deeper roles in midfield. Tielemans is set to get a chance from the bench following his £35million arrival from Aston Villa.
Diogo Dalot looks poised to return at right-back. Leny Yoro has started each pre-season game at right-back so far, but it seems likely he will be moved to centre-back alongside Harry Maguire. Luke Shaw will retain his starting role at left-back, so the back four will mirror what is likely to start on the opening day of the Premier League season against Hull on August 22.
Attack and Predicted XI
Joshua Zirkzee lost his place last weekend, with Carrick preferring Bryan Mbeumo down the middle, and there is no reason to think the United boss will revert to playing the Dutchman up front again. Amad and Patrick Dorgu are set to start on the right and left respectively, which would mean Shea Lacey missing out.
