Manchester United and Liverpool have both entered the chase for Senegal midfielder Lamine Camara, with Monaco demanding £43m for the 22-year-old. Crystal Palace are also interested in the player, who has attracted attention from English clubs for some time.
Camara's profile and World Cup form
Camara came through the renowned Generation Foot academy and previously played for Metz before joining Monaco. He was a key part of Senegal's World Cup 2026 squad, featuring in all four matches as they advanced from their group before losing to Belgium in the round of 32.
Rashford's return to United
Marcus Rashford has returned to the Manchester United squad alongside Kobbie Mainoo and Lisandro Martinez after their extended World Cup campaigns. Rashford has been given the No.14 shirt for the upcoming season, but a potential move elsewhere could still happen.
Barcelona had an option to sign the forward permanently for £26m at the end of his loan but let it expire. A similar offer from another club might still be enough to secure his services, though none has emerged so far.
