Man United fixtures compared to Newcastle and Villa after Leeds draw

Manchester United have dropped below Aston Villa and Newcastle United in the Premier League table after drawing 1-1 with Leeds United at Elland Road. Michael Carrick's side have now gone six matches without a win across all competitions.

Bryan Mbeumo gave United the lead ten minutes before half-time, but Dominic Calvert-Lewin equalised early in the second half. United have now lost points from winning positions in consecutive league games, having also led against Everton and Tottenham Hotspur, and squandered a two-goal advantage against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Carabao Cup.

United's run before the international break

Three of United's five matches before the November international break are at home. First up is a trip to Como in the Champions League on Wednesday, followed by a home match against Bournemouth on Sunday. United then travel to Stamford Bridge on Halloween to face Chelsea.

November begins with back-to-back home matches against Roma and then Aston Villa. Villa moved a point ahead of United in the table with a 1-0 win over Newcastle at St James' Park, courtesy of a header from Johan Manzambi.

Aston Villa's busy schedule

Villa host Viking in the Champions League on Wednesday before welcoming Manchester City to Villa Park three days later. Unai Emery's side also have an extra match in this block, facing Bournemouth in the Carabao Cup fifth round, and host Fulham on Halloween. November starts for Villa with a trip to Camp Nou to face Barcelona, followed by a visit to Old Trafford. United have won their last six home matches against Villa.

Newcastle's lighter workload

Newcastle face just four matches over the next three weeks as they are not playing in UEFA competition this season after finishing 12th last term. They visit Crystal Palace next weekend, fresh from Brighton's 5-0 win over the Eagles, then play Everton twice in five days, beginning with a Carabao Cup fifth-round tie at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Newcastle then host Everton in their first home match since the 1-0 defeat to Villa, before facing Fulham in their final match before the break. Newcastle have lost their last two matches at Craven Cottage.
