Manchester City suffered an injury setback during their Champions League clash with Galatasaray as winger Jeremy Doku was forced off in the first half. The Belgian had impressed and set up Rayan Cherki's goal for City's second before dropping to the turf with 10 minutes of the half remaining. Phil Foden replaced him.
City were already dealing with a host of injuries, with Ruben Dias, John Stones, Josko Gvardiol, Mateo Kovacic and Savinho all sidelined. Nico Gonzalez returned to the squad as a substitute, while Marc Guehi and Antoine Semenyo were ineligible and Rodri suspended.
Meanwhile, Oscar Bobb was not in the squad as he finalises a £27m move to Fulham ahead of Monday's transfer deadline. The academy graduate scored a crucial winner at St James' Park last season but has struggled for form after a leg fracture and has not played since December.
