Teenage darts sensation Luke Littler has revealed he recently failed his driving theory test, but the setback hasn’t dampened his spirits—or his ambition to own his dream car.
The 17-year-old, who took the darts world by storm earlier this year, admitted balancing his skyrocketing career with everyday life hasn’t been easy. "I just didn’t have enough time to revise properly," Littler confessed, referring to his unsuccessful attempt at the test.
Despite the hiccup, the Warrington-born star remains optimistic. "I’ll get it next time," he said with a grin. "I’ve got my eye on a Mercedes-AMG A 45 S—that’s the dream."
Littler’s rapid rise in professional darts has seen him compete in high-profile tournaments, including the World Darts Championship, where he became the youngest finalist in history. Yet, he insists he’s still just a typical teenager navigating life’s challenges.
"People forget I’m still learning to drive, doing normal stuff," he added. "But yeah, the car will have to wait until I pass!"
Fans have rallied behind the young athlete, flooding social media with messages of support. Many have joked that his darts precision doesn’t quite translate to multiple-choice questions.
For now, Littler remains focused on his sport—and his next shot at the theory test. "One step at a time," he laughed.
