Michael Owen Urges Liverpool to Sign Jarrod Bowen as Salah Replacement

Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen has called on the club to sign West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen as a replacement for Mohamed Salah, who is set to leave Anfield at the end of the season.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Owen described Bowen as "absolutely brilliant" and highlighted his finishing ability, pace, and versatility. The England international has registered eight goals and ten assists in 35 Premier League matches this season for West Ham.

Owen suggested Bowen would be an ideal like-for-like replacement for Salah, especially if West Ham are relegated. The Hammers are currently in the relegation zone and are favourites to drop to the Championship.

Bowen, 29, has scored 84 goals in 277 appearances for West Ham since joining from Hull City in 2020. He has four years remaining on his contract, and a fee of around £30 million could be sufficient to secure his services this summer.
