Laura Woods Collapses Live on ITV During Lionesses Coverage

Laura Woods collapsed during ITV's live buildup to England Women's friendly against Ghana at St Mary's Stadium on Tuesday. The 38-year-old presenter was pitchside with pundits Ian Wright and Anita Asante when the incident occurred, prompting an immediate cut to an advert break.

When coverage resumed, fellow presenter Katie Shanahan had stepped in, confirming Woods was unwell. Woods later took to Instagram to reassure fans, writing: 'Sorry to worry everyone, i'm ok, the wonderful paramedics at Saints have said its probably a virus, just need a bit of rest & hydration.'

She expressed embarrassment but thanked her colleagues, particularly Wright and Asante for catching her as she fell. Woods, who also presents TNT Sport's Champions League coverage, trended on social media following the incident.
