New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns and influencer Jordyn Woods have announced their engagement. The couple shared the news on Thursday with a joint Instagram post captioned “Marry Christmas” alongside emojis and 15 proposal photos taken on a rooftop in New York.
In the images, Woods wore a long white gown and a fuzzy coat, dressed for the occasion. The pair have been dating for five years; Woods confirmed their relationship in September 2020 with a beach photo on Instagram captioned, “I found you, then I found me.”
Woods is an American influencer, model and actor, best known for appearances on reality shows Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Life of Kylie, stemming from her close friendship with Kylie Jenner. In 2019, she was the subject of tabloid headlines over speculation about her connection with Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson. She has since reconciled with the family.
Towns, a Dominican American NBA player, began his career with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Last year, the four-time All-Star was traded to the Knicks for Julius Randle, Donte DiVincenzo and a first-round draft pick. A representative for Woods did not respond to the Associated Press’ request for comment.
