Jurgen Klopp's agent has firmly dismissed speculation linking the former Liverpool manager with a return to coaching at Real Madrid. Marc Kosicke stated that Klopp is content in his role as global head of soccer at Red Bull and has no ambition to coach a club again.
The speculation arose after Real Madrid presidential candidate Enrique Riquelme announced that if elected, he would appoint Klopp as the club's manager. Riquelme's statement claimed that sporting director Raul Gonzalez would contact Klopp on Monday to discuss the project.
Klopp left Liverpool in the summer of 2024 after nearly nine years and has since taken a break from management. He has previously stated he would never coach another English club due to his strong bond with Liverpool.
Riquelme faces Florentino Perez in Sunday's presidential election. This is not the first bold claim from Riquelme, who earlier this week said he would sign Erling Haaland, a claim strongly denied by Manchester City.
