Jeremy Clarkson has ended speculation about the future of Kaleb Cooper on Clarkson's Farm, confirming the co-star will return after being temporarily replaced by a new farmhand. The 65-year-old presenter addressed rumours on Instagram following the release of the series four trailer, which featured newcomer Harriet Cowan, 24.
In the trailer, fans saw Harriet stepping in while Kaleb was away on a nationwide speaking tour. Clarkson clarified that he 'made a complete mess of everything' in Kaleb's absence and brought in Harriet, a full-time nurse and farmer, to 'hold the fort' until Kaleb returned. 'There has been lots of reports that Kaleb has been replaced – well, no he hasn't,' Clarkson said in a video.
The new season of Clarkson's Farm will premiere on May 23 on Prime Video, with episodes released in batches: two on May 30 and the final two on June 6. The trailer shows Jeremy facing challenges from mother nature, which he describes as making one of the toughest years for British farmers.
Harriet, who grew up helping her father on the farm, impressed Clarkson with her skills, including fencing, feeding animals, and welding. Despite not having watched the show before, she quickly adapted. She also has a social media following and a brand deal with a sock company. Kaleb, 26, later returned and appeared to get along well with Harriet.
