John Fury's Explosive Outburst Targets Carl Froch at Wild Press Conference
John Fury unleashed a furious, expletive-filled rant directed at Carl Froch during a press conference for his son Tyson Fury's upcoming fight. The event, held in London ahead of Tyson's return to the ring against Arslanbek Makhmudov in April, descended into chaos as Fury Sr stormed in and issued a direct challenge to the former super-middleweight world champion.
Chaotic Scene as Fury Sr Demands Confrontation
The volatile atmosphere intensified when John Fury entered the room and immediately began shouting for Froch, who was present as a Netflix pundit. "I'm John Fury, where the f*** are you, let's get it on," he roared. "Where are you pal? Let's get the f*** on with it. Here I am, they talk about me day and night on video."
Fury Sr continued his aggressive verbal assault, declaring: "Here I am, I'm here to fight. Where are you? Where the f*** are you? The world's been calling me a f***ing s***house." His anger appeared to stem from ongoing criticism about his role in Tyson's career and a long-standing feud with Froch that dates back to 2024, when he previously challenged him to fight at Wembley Stadium.
Profanity-Laden Challenge Escalates
Even after leaving the main room, John Fury's tirade persisted. He demanded: "Put some f***ing respect on the name of John Fury and get that f***ing Carl Froch here. If he wants it I'm f***ing here and anybody else in this f***ing building. Look here, (I am) the ultimate f***ing meal."
His threats became more specific toward Froch: "Never f*** with this guy ever again. If you're not willing to put up, f***ing shut up. Run like a f***ing b***h Carl Froch, run like a f***ing b***h." Fury Sr asserted his fearlessness, stating: "All them f***ers calling me John Fury on the f***ing video like I'm afraid of any man that walks. I'm afraid of no man, only God almighty, and I'm here to prove it to you all."
Dramatic Exit After Brief Stage Appearance
The drama continued once the formal press conference began. John Fury briefly joined his son Tyson on stage but stayed for only about ten seconds. After interrupting proceedings with "Can I stop you there? I've made my points here. Tyson I love you son. Spencer [Brown] come here, you are his manager," he kissed Tyson on the head and departed, leaving host Josh Denzel visibly stunned.
This incident follows a pattern of disruptive behavior from John Fury at boxing events. In 2024, he headbutted a member of Oleksandr Usyk's team before Tyson's fight, and in October 2023, he launched a table during Tommy Fury's press conference ahead of his bout with KSI.
The press conference was intended to promote Tyson Fury's comeback fight against Arslanbek Makhmudov scheduled for April, but John Fury's outburst completely overshadowed the sporting announcement, creating yet another controversial chapter in the Fury family's storied boxing history.
