Iliman Ndiaye's father has moved to quash speculation linking the Everton winger with a move to Saudi Arabia, insisting his son is not leaving the club.
Father Dismisses Transfer Rumours
Mouhamadou Abdoulaye Ndiaye told Wiw Sport in Senegal: “Many people called me to tell me that Iliman was going to leave. But rest assured, he’s not going anywhere.
“He called me this morning. I even teased him with a few words in Arabic, and we had a good laugh. He let me know he had no intention of going to Saudi Arabia.
“He knows he can earn a lot of money there, but he also thinks his level could drop. He’s not the type to prioritise money over his career.”
Club's Stance Unchanged
Various reports had claimed Ndiaye agreed personal terms with Al Hilal, but the ECHO reported on Wednesday that Everton insist the winger is not for sale. Manager David Moyes made his position clear in April, and while there is interest from the Saudi club, no formal contact has been made.
The Senegal international has rejected several new contract offers since the start of the year and expressed a desire to play Champions League football before the World Cup.
Return to Training
Senegal were eliminated by Belgium at the round of 32 stage on July 1, and Ndiaye is expected back shortly as Everton head to Germany for a training camp with friendlies against Hamburg and Stuttgart.
Ndiaye has three years remaining on his current deal with Everton.
